This week we welcomed 184 new students to ISF!
On Monday 148 new students started from Kindergarten to Grade 12, and on Tuesday we welcomed 75 new and returning students into Grade 1 with our traditional Welcome Ceremony in the theatre. Ms Jarque, our Primary Academic Coordinator, welcomed all of our families and introduced the Grade 1 teachers. Many students brought the traditional German Schultüte which is filled with sweets and other goodies to ease the first day of school. Our Grade 2 students welcomed Grade 1 with songs in German and English and poetry recitals.
Our new ISF students come from all over the world and we would like to give them a warm welcome to our international school community.
