Our ISF High School Diploma is accepted by all US colleges and many of our students go on to attend leading colleges in the USA. We have a US College Counsellor who works closely with our students to enable them to make successful applications to US colleges, including Ivy League colleges. Our students are prepared for SAT and ACT examinations by our US College Counsellor and take them with great success. We are the only school in Frankfurt that offer the Advanced Placement (AP) program, along with our High School Diploma as well as International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma.
We have many US teachers on staff and students who come to us from the USA find it very easy to join our community. Those who leave us to go back to schools in the USA usually find themselves ahead of their peers.
US students are able to learn German quickly in ISF. We have an excellent German curriculum from Pre-school up to G12, on four levels from beginner to native speaker and our students make excellent progress. Students may learn French or Spanish from Grade 6 upwards On top of our excellent educational program we offer a very wide range of sports and extra-curricular activities.
We have outstanding sports facilities which include an indoor swimming pool, sports halls, tennis courts and state of the art soccer and sports fields and running track. Sports on offer include basketball, soccer, swimming volley ball, tennis, track and field and golf. ISF students complete against students from other German and European schools and ISF has been the German International Sports Tournament Champion for the past three years.
We offer a huge range of extra-curricular activities which include such diverse clubs as debating, Model United Nations, Habitat for Humanity, chess and gymnastics. Our students can always find an activity that interests and fulfils them.
Our music art and drama programs are very strong. Students may have tuition in most musical instruments and take part in plays and musicals each year. We also have a splendid annual art exhibition.
