Current COVID-19 infection control plan

First, I want to thank you all for your current feedback and support. I understand that many of you are worried and nervous about the current outbreak but I can ensure you that, as a school we are taking all the recommended precautions of the international, national and local authorities. We are also monitoring what all the other international schools in the area are doing at this time so as to keep in line with commendations.

Below please find the current measures implemented at ISF.

  1. The school has been taking extra hygiene precautions by investing in additional anti-bacterial stations throughout the school, educating the students and staff on the importance of frequent handwashing and extra cleaning services has been started to reduce the potential spread of germs from surfaces.
  2. As from Monday 2nd of March, a leave of 14-day absence from school (from the day of arrival to Frankfurt), has to be enforced on students and staff returning from the following regions: China: Province Hubei (Wuhan) and the cities Wenzhou, Hangzhou, Ningbo, Taizhou in the province Zhejiang, North Italy: Lombardia, Veneto and Emilia-Romagna, South Korea: Daegu and Cheongo Regions (North-Gyeongsang) or to Iran in the province of Ghom.
  3. We ask the cooperation of parents to fill in the Travel Declaration form in case they intend to travel to the above mentioned countries. Please keep informed via the digital platform for any added countries. The travel declaration can be reported to the school nurse at, nurse@isf-sabis.net. The nurse will then instruct those families with next steps which follow the suggestions from the CDC and Frankfurt Gesundhseitsamt.
  4. We have canceled all large groups school events, activities and trips for the time being as a safety precaution.
  5. We continue to stress that everyone puts in effort to continue following the universal precautions.
